The Analogue Project is a submission-based competition presented by AESTHESIA STUDIOS in partnership with MONTH OF PHOTOGRAPHY LOS ANGELES, with one rule: all portraits submitted must have been made using film, not digital cameras.

On March 31st from 6-9pm, Aesthesia Studios is hosting an Artist's Reception to exhibit the 20 top entry photographs selected from nearly 500 submissions! The judges include: Amy Feitelberg, JUCO Photo, Cat Jimenez, Franny Legge, and Grant and Tiziana Mitchell.

At 7:30pm, we will announce the Prizes...which will be presented as follows:

1st Prize - One day shoot at Aesthesia Studio B with grip and strobe package*

2nd Prize - One day shoot at Aesthesia in North Light studio with a grip package*

Peoples Choice - One day shoot at Aesthesia in North Light studio with a grip package*

How does the People's Choice Award work, you might ask? The Top 25 photographers will be notified and given a link to this event page, where their selected images have been posted in a gallery. The image with the greatest number of LIKES by March 31st at 7:00 pm (announced @ 7:30pm) will WIN the People's Choice Award! So be sure to SHARE the photo you love best (or the photo that your best friend shot) to increase their chances of winning.

And then of course, make sure you're in attendance when you/your friend/your acquaintence wins! AESTHESIA STUDIOS Analogue Facebook event page (aka WHERE TO VOTE).
