Kirk Pedersen is a Los Angeles based multidisciplinary artist—painter, photographer, publisher and professor. Traveling to Hong Kong, Bangkok, Tokyo, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and many other cities in Asia to capture what he called Urban Asia, Pedersen examined the seemingly ordinary stuff of life.

Kirk Pedersen received his M.A. from San Francisco State University and his M.F.A. in painting from Claremont Graduate University. He has exhibited extensively at major galleries, art fairs and museums throughout the United States. Internationally, Pedersen’s works have been featured in Germany, Switzerland, and China, including solo exhibitions at the Today Art Museum (Beijing) and the Duolun Museum of Modern Art (Shanghai).

Pedersen launched ZERO+ Publishing in January 2009 and the imprint focuses on urban, graffiti and Pop Surrealist artists based in Los Angeles. At the beginning of 2018, 60 unique titles including trade, clamshell and deluxe artist editions have been published.
