Amy Feitelberg is currently a photo art director at Square in San Francisco, CA, where she gets to create the visuals for a forward thinking company that enables entrepreneurship for all. Previous to her transition to the Bay, she was the photo director at Los Angeles magazine and ran the photo department at Outside magazine in Santa Fe, NM before that. Throughout her tenure in publishing she curated, produced and art directed photo shoots all over the world and in every genre. She has had the privilege to work with Dan Winters, Robert Maxwell, Art Streiber, Marco di Lauro, Nigel Cox, Craig Cutler, Martin Schoeller, Joe Pugliese, Peggy Sirota and so many other incredibly talented visual storytellers.
She won the 2015 Gold Medal for best photo essay from the Society of Publication Designers (http://media.lamag.com/saturdaynight/), as well as awards of Excellence from Communication Arts, and many images published in the American Photography Photo Annual.
Born in Los Angeles, raised in the Bay Area, educated in New York City and challenged in New Mexico, she's happy to be back where she started from - in the Golden State.
