Eugénie Frerichs is the Director of Photography at Patagonia. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she cut her teeth as an Art Producer at Portland’s Wieden + Kennedy before venturing out to pursue her own photography projects, covering remote food production in rural communities in Chile, Colorado, British Columbia, the Yukon, and Alaska. Since moving to California in 2015 she has been trying her hand at the fine art of knee boarding, and takes great inspiration from the legendary George Greenough. She holds a BA in Art History from The Colorado College, and is an MFA candidate with the Photography program at the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford, Connecticut.
